Meet Jamie
Jamie is a qualified electrician with over 20 years’ experience. As a child he was always brought along to jobs with his Dad and uncles so his path in life was already chosen for him at a very young age. Jamie served his time on the industrial side of the trade before moving to domestic and commercial premises where he found his passion. Jamie has completed many courses in interface cabling and has recently qualified with a Level 6 Certification in Emergency Lighting Systems Commissioning.
Jamie has a great ability to use innovative ways and means to approaching all aspects of electrical work with a minimum amount of damage and disruption to the customer’s property.
Meet Dave
Dave is an experienced cable jointer for MV and LV underground cables and an experienced cable fault locator on underground cables.
Dave is a qualified PAT Tester. Pat testing is a requirement for all places of work where electrical appliances are used. Dave trained as an electrician with ESB from 1973 to 1978. Dave attended Kevin Street college of Technology to achieve further qualifications.
In 1985 Dave became a trainer with ESB training apprentices. In 1996 Dave started training electricians and engineers in the areas of Operation of the system, fault finding and installation of underground cables. In 2000 he moved to asset management, where he was involved with introducing and maintaining standards for MV/LV underground cables and equipment.
Dave has extensive experience in domestic and small industrial installations.
I was a qualified Manual handling Instructor and ran many courses for staff in ESB
Specialties: PAT testing. House rewiring, Electric showers, security lighting, extra sockets and lights, outside lighting etc. Low energy lighting. Cost analysis for energy saving.
Training needs analysis, training course development. Transition management (change process).
