Got an emergency call out this morning from a customer in Stillorgan. A loose connection in a socket had caused the socket to burn out. Problem sorted out within an hour of receiving the call.

Working on a job today in Rathmines. While working in the house I came across a faulty RCBO. Luckily I had a spare one in the van which I installed. While checking the fuse board I discovered 5 loose connections on the board. Loose connections are the major cause of electrical fires.
