Busy day yesterday in Monkstown twice for emergency call outs and also in Leopardstown for another emergency

Got a call from a customer in Monkstown yesterday morning. They had no hot water and had a young child. Dropped over and sorted out the problem quickly. Later on got a call to Leopardstown to check out a leak on an immersion tank that also sorted out quickly.

Then got a call from another customer in Monkstown. They said it wasn’t an emergency but said the plastic around the main fuse had melted. I explained to the customer that this was very dangerous and I would call over immediately. Replaced the main switch fuse and showed the customer the damage.

If any electrical appliance feels warm to touch, then there is  a serious problem and it needs to be sorted out quickly.
