Call out this morning to Blackrock for burnt out switched spur

Got a call from a lovely couple in Blackrock. There was a smell of burning in the hot press. I found a burnt switched spur in the hot press. see photos.

It is important if you get a smell of burning to switch off electrical appliances until the cause is found and cleared. This could easily have ended up as a fire in the couples home.
