Got a call to reconnect 3 Phase motor. The customer had tried to replace one of the contactors themselves. The motor and wiring were in a dangerous condition. We informed the customer that the wiring was not up to standard and needed replacing.

If a switch or socket feels warm to touch, then something is very wrong. You will often get an unusual smell (fishy smell). Do not ignore these signs. Unplug any appliances or switch off switches. Call an electrician if you are not sure what to do.
