A bord gas technician told the customer there was a problem with her boiler. He told her the earth wire was live. On checking out the boiler and electrics in the house I found no problem.
I tried to contact the technician but Bord Gas would not give out his number. I asked Bord Gas to get the technician to ring me, which they assured me he would.
The technician has not contacted me yet. If there was a fault like he said there was he should have disconnected the boiler as it would have been very dangerous.
If a boiler service man/woman tells you there is a problem with your boiler, make sure you get their mobile number so they can be contacted.
