Electrical sockets and switches can cause fires.

If a switch or socket feels warm to touch, then something is very wrong. You will often get an unusual smell (fishy smell). Do not ignore these signs. Unplug any appliances or switch off switches. Call an electrician if you are not sure what to do.

Emergency Lighting

Just finished an end of year test of Emergency Lighting in shop in Dundrum. Customer was having problem getting contractor to complete and certify tests. We were able to respond with in 2 weeks. The customer was extremely happy and requested us to complete other work in the shop.

Insulation damage to cables in home

Polystyrene insulation causes a chemical reaction when it comes in contact with PVC insulated cables. I came across this in a house I was working in this week. The upstairs part of the house will need to be rewired as there is now a potential fire hazard.
