Burning in switch in Blackrock
Got a call out to a house in Blackrock on Friday. The customer got a smell of burning from a dimmer switch. On investigation I found wood behind the switch starting to burn. This could have caused a fire in the home. I installed the proper box behind the switch and used a new switch.

Replaced 23 halogen down lighters with LED’s in a house in Dublin
Got a call to replace 23 low voltage halogen downlighters in a Dublin home. Even though the house was recently rewired 4 of the transformers had started to show signs of burning. LED down lighters are much safer and will pay for themselves in less than a year.
