Switch and Socket hot to touch. Safety Message
If switches or sockets are warm to touch or if you get a smell from them, there is a problem. I have come across many instances where the customer said the switch felt warm or the fuse on the fuse board felt warm. This indicates a serious problem which needs to be dealt with immediately.
- Switch off switch
- Do not switch back on again
- Call a competent electrician
- Wait until the all clear is given.
